Friday 21 November - Christmas Lights Switch-on. This is always a fun evening, with music, food and gift stalls all around the town. The Christmas tree hasn't yet appeared but it won't be long. Sunday 7 December - Indie Christmas Shopping Day. Support all our local independent stores and get great gifts for all your friends and family. Again, pitches will be available from tracy@hitchinbid.co.uk
Whatever else you do, get down to Hitchin town centre on those days. My aim this year is to get all my Christmas gifts from Hitchin shops. That's a challenge I'm prepared to take on.
