Friday evening brought lights to the Christmas tree that's become a tradition in Hitchin's Market Place.
The music and the food made the huge crowds smile and it was great to see the town centre so packed.
Saturday morning bought a dusting of snow and then a great Food Festival that included some favourite stalls to help warm up Christmas shoppers.
So, Christmas is definitely on the way and we can all begin our shopping in earnest.
Don't forget to shop local - there's so much to choose from around the town and something for everyone in our independent stores.
Keep an eye out for our special events coming up and don't miss the chance to enjoy more food and drink and great music.
