Jane Thynne will be visiting Hitchin Library on Thursday 20th March, to talk about her new novel. 'The Winter Garden', a World War 2 thriller, is about the death of a young woman at one of the notorious Nazi Bride Schools.
Clara Vine, the actress/spy heroine of Thynne's previous novel 'Black Roses', investigates the mysterious death, and uncovers an even more mysterious secret.
Copies of both thrillers are available from your local library. Tickets for the event, which starts at 7.15p.m. cost £5, or £2.50 for concessions.
The event is part of the Hertfordshire Libraries Litfest, where there are a whole host of literary events scheduled throughout the county. Ask in your local library for more info.
