You'll have to book fast, but this is your last chance to see behind the scenes at Hitchin Museum.
No-one currently knows what plans are in place for the old Charnwood House on Paynes Park, given to the town for the museum.
Soon, the museum contents and those from Letchworth museum wil be moved into the Town Hall. We'll all be able to see the new joint museum once the redevelopment is complete.
Councillor Tony Hunter, North Hertfordshire District Council’s Portfolio Holder for Community Engagement said: “This is a really good opportunity for anyone interested in local history and archaeology to find out about the work being undertaken to sort through the collections before the new North Hertfordshire museum opens to the public next summer. Make sure you book your place for this last chance opportunity."
