Garden House offers free hospice care to patients from the local community (including Hitchin) with a life limiting diagnosis, both within the hospice and through the Hospice at Home service.
There is no doubt that it is more difficult to raise funds in the current economic climate and the challenge this year is to secure the £million needed to maintain the day to day patient services.
Can you help achieve this target by making a splash and raising some cash for Garden House? The very first sponsored swim takes place on Sunday 19 June at North Herts Leisure Centre from 6-8pm.
Garden House Hospice invite individuals or teams (max 6) to swim as far as they can in 30 minutes. Maybe a team representing your company would be happy to take part
There is no entry fee or minimum sponsorship required.
When training for this event the North Herts Leisure are offering swimming sessions at a reduced rate - so there is no excuse!
