I’m Kevin Sibley, owner of Mamas Bakehouse - I produce home-made fudge, award winning cupcakes, brownies, tray bakes and tarts.
Why do you do what you do?
I’ve always had a passion for baking and it was my Mum who taught me the skills. It feels like a very natural environment for me to be.
What makes your business special?
Everything I make is home-made, no artificial ingredients, all good quality.
What is your most popular seller?
I do a selection of brownies that are my best seller
Tell us something most people don't know about you or your business
Most people don’t know I used to be 400m hurdler ranked in the top 30 in the UK (was back in the 80s!)
What is your favourite meal?
I LOVE Thai green curry!
What is your favourite drink?
My favourite drink is White wine - Sancerre
Is this your full time job and if not, what else do you do?
Yes this is my full-time job although I do some freelance graphic design from time to time.
Anything new in the pipeline?
No firm plans in the pipeline, but the plan is to eventually live on the coast and have a traditional tea room.
