As exams loom for many of our young people, here and away at university - it's clear we have avery talented pool of future employees in Hitchin.
Today's event in the Market Place was an active and interactive exhibit from North Herts College, introducing the place to young people who might be on half term and wondering what to do with the rest of their lives.
We're fortunate to have such a great educational centre on our doorstep, alongside three fantastic secondary schools and too many good primary schools to count.
Today's exhibit was designed to celebrate NHC's amazing students, tutors, alumni and business partnerships. There was even a chance to win tickets to one of the summer's music festivals.
Of course, the intention was to open up possibilities for students to join NHC courses in September and lots of people were getting involved and finding out more.

Writer and sax player. Brought up in Hitchin and - apart from uni and some ensuing madness of life in London - I've always lived here.
