This has been a big year or so for Charles Wilson Carpets in Hitchin's Hermitage Road.
They've just celebrated 40 years of business in the town, they've expanded their premises and even provided the red carpet for HRH Queen Elizabeth II's visit to Hitchin last year.
Now they've won not one but two awards from the local Federation of Small Businesses.
Helen said: "We are delighted to have won both Service Excellence and North Herts Business of the Year categories. We strive all the time to provide the best quality products and services to our customers and this is great recognition that we're getting it right."
Several customers were happy to support Charles Wilson Carpets and their testimonials here on The Best of Hitchin formed part of the evidence for their wins.
"We're a small business and aim to get to know our customers well, so that we can understand exactly what they need from us," said Helen. "We are committed to maintaining high standards and our three fitters were part of our submission for the awards - they're the team who go out into customers' homes the most and we're proud of how they represent us."
Now, the team at the shop and out in customers' homes are proud that they've proved just how good their service is and why they're North Herts Business of the Year!
