Hitchin Fashion Show on 11 May managed to attract hundreds of keen shoppers into the Market Square and then into 13 of our fashion retailers.
180 models were part of it and Hannah from Jolly Brown was pleased with the audience turnout. She said: "All the participating shops had a 10% off discount in the afternoon and it boosted our sales, as well as encouraging people into other shops, cafes and restaurants in Hitchin.
"It's so good for the town when we all work together on something like this and lots of people discovered new things that are on offer that will hopefully stop them going elsewhere."
The Autumn/Winter Fashion Show is already booked for 12 October - it's a great opportunity to support the independent shops in our town and for them to show how much they appreciate us as customers.
