Several of the shops currently empty in the town centre have interested parties currently negotiating and let's hope that landlords and NHDC give them a break. Our occupancy rate remains below the national average, so let's keep it that way.
Most of the rumours circulating about who's taking over which shop are caused by lengthy negotiations and as soon as there's real news, we'll share it!
For now, I can't wait for the opening of the Turkish restaurant in the old Philpotts building on Sun Street.
