Saturday 14 June, 11am to 3pm, Hitchin Boys' School will be the place to be.
All our local schools open their gates to summer customers in a bid to raise funds and they all need support.
Hitchin Boys' this Saturday features the usual face painting, tombolas, cakes and light refreshments. However, they also have stalls from Jolly Brown, Rosita Lollipop, Dolly Mixtures vintage hair and make up, a barbecue and the delicious Cantina Carnitas.
There'll be live music (I know, I've heard the practising), a milk shake bar, tennis and even sumo wrestling.
The sun promises to shine, so turn up and support one of our great local schools.
Writer and sax player. Brought up in Hitchin and - apart from uni and some ensuing madness of life in London - I've always lived here.
