The Fifth VicFest - a music and real ale festival at The Victoria Pub - took place this weekend, with hundreds of people turning up to enjoy the fun.
Landlady Victoria Kevans said: "We were thrilled that so many people came along again. It's mainly families during the afternoon and then the revellers enjoy the evening's entertainment."
Held in aid of the British Heart Foundation (www.bhf.org.uk) and Headway (www.headway.org.uk), VicFest is a tribute to Victoria's parents, who many people will remember from the pub.
The music is organised in association with SoundArc promotions (www.soundarcpromotions.com), who also organise the regular monthly acoustic night at the Vic.
"This is our busiest weekend of the year and it's great to feature some of the local talent from around and about Hitchin," says Victoria. "The two stages in the Barn and in the pub itself alternate through the two afternoons and evenings and we've even thrown in some comedy. There really is something for everyone."
If you missed this year's event, check it out next year - May Bank Holiday 2013 is going to be rocking again.
