Hitchin Market Place was full of everything from plants - and people helping us all grow veg and flowers as therapy and for food - to motorbikes that help shift health supplies quickly around the area.
There were support groups for everything from diabetes to anxiety.
The councillors were offering their regular surgery of a different kind.
It was great to see professionals and volunteers committed to us all being a little more healthy.
Once more, Hitchin Market Place was used for the benefit of the community. Long may that continue.
Writer and sax player. Brought up in Hitchin and - apart from uni and some ensuing madness of life in London - I've always lived here.
