The current leaseholder of Churchgate has submitted a planning application to refurbish most of the existing buildings including installing new bay windows, cladding, re-roofing and replacing existing canopies and whilst this may only be cosmetic, will undoubtedly uplift the area and the shopkeepers whilst the bidders have their tenders shortlisted.
