Visitors waltzing to Isleworth Leisure Centre on 18th October will be able to take advantage of free Latin and Dance Fitness sessions given by former World Champion Neil Kelly from Rubies Dance Centre.
Neil, who won the World Jive Championships in 1992, will be delivering two half hour Latin Dancing Taster Sessions at the leisure centre based on Twickenham Road at 1pm and 2.30pm plus a Dance Fitness and Strengthening Taster Session at 1.45 pm. The sessions will be followed by a demonstration by some of Rubies Dance Centre’s best competitors at 3pm...in all their sparkly outfits!
Isleworth Leisure Centre’s Manager Jamie Webster said of the dance sessions “Dancing is a fantastic way to keep fit in a really fun environment. We hope that visitors on the 18th enjoy trying something new under the guidance of a world champion!”.
The dance sessions form part of a borough-wide Open Weekend at all five Leisure Centres operated by Fusion Lifestyle in partnership with Hounslow Council. The events will take place on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th October at Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre, Hanworth Air Park Leisure Centre, Isleworth Leisure Centre, New Chiswick Pool and Osterley Sports and Athletics Centre. Along with the dance sessions at Isleworth Leisure Centre there will be something for everyone to enjoy, with a host of fitness-related activities, most of which will be FREE. Including; fitness classes such as Tabata and Body Combat for adults to try, and swim sessions and sports coaching for younger visitors.
