Brentford FC is planning to move from Griffin Park to a new stadium – still in Brentford – at Lionel Road, just by Kew Bridge station.
Griffin Park has been a great home for the club but the facilities mean that the club can only generate revenue on match days whereas the new stadium can be used all week for other events such as conferences, weddings and other social occasions.
As with all new builds, planning consent is required and Brentford FC have now presented their planning application and they need the Brentford supporters and the local people to support their application.
So if you want to support the new stadium, you can do so by sending an Email to planning@hounslow.gov.uk
Please include ref no 00703/A/P11 in the subject title, mark the email for the attention of Shane Baker and include your name and full postal address
Or you can send you support by post to Development Management, London Borough of Hounslow, Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN
Brentford FC is a real community asset within Hounslow Borough and it is very important to enable it to remain and develop in Brentford, with the economic and social benefits that the new community stadium will deliver.
More information is available on the stadium website www.brentfordcommunitystadium.com
