Work has started on two controversial road developments in Huddersfield.
One is a 200 metre stretch on Leeds Rd at Bradley for a bus lane, and the other is a bus lane along the side of the juge Waterfront development on Manchester Rd at Chapel Hill - costing an estimated £950,000.
Local residents are not impressed, and a bus driver claims that the time saved will be negligable.
The Waterfront development is considered to be the single biggest regeneration project currently underway in Kirklees.
