Why does each council deal with recycling in a different way? A friend in Bradford has seperate collections for paper (but not if shredded?), glass and tins, and garden waste, but plastic is included in general.
We have no collection of garden waste (why?), our paper, plastic and tins go in the green bin, we have a separate green box for glass - everything else in the black bin.
I'd like to be able to recycle as much as possible, and I'm sure there's a better way of separating our household waste so that we can reuse more of it.
