Social Media Sharing
Families share, friends share, networks share and social media is also about sharing information that will benefit and add value to the people you engage with.
We grow up learning from the people around us whilst sharing experiences; this is then taken into our work life. The internet has developed massively since 2004 with the arrival of social media technologies making it possible to produce and share content and information.
Social media differs from marketing and PR in the area of sharing, rather than talking at customers you are engaging with people. Everyone is aware of word of mouth referrals and how most business comes from this, which is the basic sharing of information regarding loyalty and trust.
As more and more people begin to use social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter and Linked In there is more opportunity to share information with larger networks of people.
Being active on social media platforms sharing your knowledge and experience of the industry you will help not only widen your network but build awareness. You should never sell yourself, your product or services just share your experiences, engage and build relationships.
Here are some links I would like to share that have collective social media resources that can be helpful to all, if you have any to add to this please leave a comment below.
