WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND
What a fantastic weekend your local area has in store for you this weekend. There is something for everyone from a Beer Fest, to live music and even a 1940’s weekend thrown in.
Weekend Long Events
The Cock, Hemingford Grey is holding their 14th Beer Fest this weekend, starting this Friday and continuing through the weekend until Sunday afternoon. With lots of real ales to try, music and a pop-up Smoke Works BBQ, this is not an event to be missed.
Ramsey’s 1940’s Weekend is back again, this Saturday and Sunday. With fantastic musical entertainment, 40’s themed trade stalls and battle re-enactments, it looks like it will be another successful weekend for the Ramsey 1940’s volunteers.
Along with all of the weekend long events there are lots of great 1 day events taking place, so go and support your local community.
Friday 19th August.
End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.
After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Market, for a range of homemade, home grown local produce.
Enjoy a classic film in the company of others as St Ives Screen presents ‘Roman Holiday’, staring Audrey Hepburn, in her first ever US performance.
Join Huntingdon Commemoration Hall as they host the ever popular rock ‘n’ roll band – ‘Around the Block’. Sit back and enjoy the music or dance the night away, the choice is yours.
Saturday 20th August.
Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market, or find some fresh local produce at St Ives Farmers Market.
Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racesource, or St Neots Common.
Cinnabar Gift and Craft Fair is back at St Ives Corn Exchange so why not pop along and find that unusual and original gift for someone or yourself.
Johnny Cash is at the Commemoration Hall, Huntingdon this Saturday, well at least this fantastic tribute act is. Performing all the classics and more from his 5-decade career, you will not be left disappointed.

You can visit Car Boot Sales today at Huntingdon Racecourse, Skylark Garden Centre and Crystal Lakes.
Get the children out of the house as they become Nature Explorers and explore the nature that is living in and around Fen Drayton Lakes. This is the chance to look at some of the bugs that are living around the lake, and their habitat.
Enjoy a trip on the Fenland Light Railway in Ramsey as they have their Public Running Day. With rides at just £1 per person, it’s great value for money and you can even grab a cup of tea and slice of cake too.
