WHAT’S ON IN HUNTINGDON AND ST IVES THIS WEEKEND
There is lots going on this weekend for you to get involved with including ‘The International Food, Gift and Craft Market’ in Huntingdon to a Wedding Fair at The George Hotel on Sunday.
Weekend Long Events
The International Food, Gift and Craft market is running from Wednesday 7th September until Saturday 10thSeptember at Huntingdon Town Centre. With stalls selling German Sausages, Crepes, handbags, flowers, breads and much more. This is your chance to try something new or start your Christmas shopping.
Haddenham Steam Fair is in its’ 43rd year, and is set not to disappoint with both moving and stationary steam engines, trade stalls, fairground attractions, food stalls and the ever popular heavy horse show on the Sunday.
Along with all of the weekend long events there are lots of great 1 day events taking place, so go and support your local community.
Friday 9th September.
End your week by enjoying a relaxing cup of coffee at The A14 Networking at The Taproom, St Ives, and meet other local businesses.
Visit Huntingdon Town and pick up some local produce at the Farmers Market.
After networking pop over to St Ives Corn Exchange, for the Country Market, for a range of homemade, home grown local produce.
Join St Ives Corn Exchange as it is that time of the month again for a great night out; ‘Friday Night is Dance Night’. So dig out your dancing shoes and dance the night away to modern ballroom, Latin American and more. Doors open at 7.20pm and tickets are strictly limited.
Join Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts Centre as they host ‘An Evening with Paul Merson’. Enjoy and evening with the former England professional footballer and manager turned football television pundit. There will be a shirt signing session at 10pm and a chance to buy VIP ‘Meet and Greet’ tickets.
Saturday 10th September.
Visit Huntingdon town for their bi-weekly market.
Car Boots today are at Huntingdon Racesource, or St Neots Common.
Pidley International Teddy Bear FreeFall Competition is back. Support the 10 brave teddies as they parachute out of a plane all to raise money for Pidley Mountain Rescue Charity. There will be lots of fun games and activities for the children to join in with and a competition of the best dressed Teddy Bear.
Huntingdon Commemoration Hall is hosting an Art Gallery. If you enjoy art, then take a look around. Are you an Artist who would like to sell and display your work then contact the Commemoration Hall.
Enjoy an evening of variety hosted by HCRfm and Hinchingbrooke Performing Arts group. The Variety Show 2016 will bring you an evening full of music and laughter.
