As it's getting in to the Christmas and shopping period I thought I would just share my thoughts on a couple of good places to go if you're looking for something that doesn't come from one of the main high street retailers. Islington still has quiet a few small independent shops left that haven't been gobbled up by a big brand and it's always good to try and keep these places going and in Islington or else the choices will come down to Next or H&M
Cop Copine on upper street sells "mainly black" as they say themselves but very well. My girlfriend swears by this shop and I'm not one to argue with her on shopping!
A couple of other cool and funky fashion shops in Islington to try. Palette just off Upper Street on Canobury Lane sell a range of vintage and funky fashion for women.
For men a great place to check out is Seftons on Upper Street again one of the more funky shops in the area.
Labour of Love on Upper Street is another independent fashion shop for women
Have a look at the above shops. They'll make a welcome change from the usual high street chains
Your guide to everything Islington. My name is Nevan and I run The Best of Islington website, I'm constantly looking to find the best places to go and things to do is this lovely borough.
