Large enclosures for the monkeys - the very small species can even climb around outside.
There is a tunnel tent with bats - mega.
Allow plenty of time, even though the zoo isn't that big - it's fun.

Fantastic zoo with plenty of animals. Lots of people but didn’t feel crowded. Cafe food was expensive but the kids ate it all (except the coleslaw) so worth it.
Make sure you get to the far corner with the bats, butterflies and giant tortoises

Loved it, great half day out. A different kind of zoo, it's not just about the animals it's a story thing about Gerald Durrell. Very interesting person and history. Really enjoyed it. If the weather was better we would have stayed longer.Visited on

Lovely zoo with incredible animals. Keeper talks were nice. Only thing is we got bumped £4.50 for mediocre fruit. 3 strawberrys 6 grapes and 2 blueberries is outrageous.
