One of the best activity of Jersey Island : this Zoo is very well-documented and offers uncommon and memorable features such as the butterfly house or the bat house.

Got there early to avoid the crowds. It worked the coaches were turning up as I left.
Lots to see here I would like to go back some day.

A nice zoo, animals look happy, keepers are friendly. Had a good morning here. Wasn't to busy even in the rain there were places to shelter.

Great zoo, bringing back some memories of times when I was reading Durrell's book. A bit disappointed by the lack of visibility of some of the iconic lemurs, and their aging enclosures.

Really enjoyed the talks given by the various keepers. Very informative and their enthusiasm was infectious. The grounds were well kept offering plenty of seats to observe the animals. The café had a lovely selection of snacks and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Not the biggest, but one of the nicest zoos I've been to. Plus it doesn't cost a fortune to get in.

Lovely imaginative and large enclosures if somewhat in need of some t.I.c. Need some more staff to keep the gardens and pathways tidy. Alot of dead leaves on the pathways to wade through . !!!

What this zoo does, it does incredibly well. The only caveat is that it is all about conservation and with limited space, there are no big game animals. However don't let that put you off. There is lots to see, amphibians, snakes, monkeys, meerkats, lots of birds, wild pigs, orangutans and much more.
Our food from the largest cafe was reasonably priced and tasty.
There are keeper talks which are clearly advertised as well as a large well stocked gift shop.
When visiting Jersey, this is one of the top 5 things you must do.
