I came there more than 20 years ago and found this zoo magnificent.
As a father of three boys, we went there hoping to share my memories with them.
Small disappointment because I find that the latter has not evolved much.
Certainly the animals seem very well treated but the bias of presenting mainly species originating from Madagascar 🇲🇬 does not allow for the diversity of other zoos.
The visit remains pleasant with explanations on certain animals which make us aware of the fragility of mother nature: this is a primary objective for our dear little ones.
Bats 🦇 are impressive and this allows us to understand that their role in the ecosystem is important.
Frogs 🐸 snakes 🐍 iguanas 🦎 will add a little thrill to your visit.
The restaurant is good and the ecological concern is present: no more straws, cutlery 🥄 and plastic bottles and welcome to indefinitely recyclable wood, cardboard and aluminum.
It remains a great time to share with family.

Brilliant experience the zoo is geared towards endangered creatures and throughout the visit there was clear examples of how this is undertaken in each location around the world. Good signage around the site. Restaurants great and best of all got to see the AyeAye

Amazing animals - been here before but worth a second visit. The enclosures seem so well thought out and it was reassuring to learn about the conservation work being carried out.

Fantastic conservation zoo, can’t praise the work they do enough! Always wonderful to see the gorillas, orangutan’s and meerkats and also the frogs and otters (my favourites!) some areas are looking a little dated but good to see improvements still being made. I think it was £17 for an adult admission but we were there for nearly 4 hours so we got our money’s worth. The cafe at the entrance was lovely too and good that they cater for vegans, gluten free etc. Well worth a visit if you have a few hours to spare 👍

It is not the typical Zoo. The animals move in an environment very similar to their natural habitat.

A large zoo with many different species of exotic animals. Lots of benches and relaxation or picnic areas, several restaurants scattered throughout the park. The animal enclosures are built in such a way that you are very close to the animals.
