This was a great little zoo. We've done the big ones like Chester but this place is different but the animals are well displayed and cared for. The Gorillas and Orangutans are superb to see

Lovely day out. Good value as you can spend all day there. Lots of keeper talks to attend throughout the day. Clearly signposted. Good and clean facilities. The food in the cafe was fresh and delicious, particularly the jacket potato with chicken I had. Very tasty. Jersey ice cream available. Very friendly staff throughout the park. Wide variety of choice in the gift shop. The animals seemed to have fantastic environments and were clearly looked after well.

Very good zoom with lots of animals. The park is large, there is enough to do for a day.

Somewhere I have visited many times over the years. A lovely place for a picnic. Animals more active in the afternoon.

Thank God for eccentrics and pure grit. What Gerald Durrell achieved was amazing. I liked the way they emphasised the breeding and reintroduction successes they have had, so it isn't all doom and gloom. Loved all the animals especially the cuddly gibbons and the cheeky little golden lion tamarins. Enjoyed the keepers talks too. They really love their charges.

Really lovely zoo. A lot of thought, time and money has gone into providing excellent habitats for a diverse range of mainly endangered animals.

What a lovely place. Especially loved your gorillas and orangutans but also a big fan if bats. All the species had brilliant enclosures. A must visit when in Jersey.

A great zoo with an inspirational story behind it. Zookeeper talks not to be missed. Easily over 90% of animals able to be seen.

An amazing zoo. Make sure you catch the 'keeper talks' when you visit. Their knowledge and the passionate way they describe Durrell's conservation work is inspiring. At one point we were standing next to five Ploughshare Tortoises (which represented 1% of the worldwide population) - the rest were under armed guard in a sanctuary in Madagascar. Get up close and personal with loads of the animals and walk through the aviary and bat house. Brilliant day out which ended with enormous, reasonably-priced cakes! Well worth the entrance fee.

Although a small, but well-maintained zoo. In which mainly animals that are endangered can be found. The animals themselves have spacious and, above all, green accommodations. Lots of plants and trees. The locations are spread across the site. The catering is not special. You even have to pay attention as sometimes the freshly packaged items are not that fresh. The zoo itself is recommended.
