What a lovely afternoon we had. From the moment we were welcomed by the lovely lady tour guide who gave us a sample of cider, while she told us all about the vines, through the videos accompanied by samples of their delicious wines (in proper wine glasses!). This was followed by the explanation of making and bottling the sparkling wine, sampling handmade fine chocolate and fudge and then learning the process of their apple brandy cream and spirits, more samples. Of course we finished in the shop, but no-one pestered us to buy anything! Had the day been drier, we would have enjoyed a wander in the gardens, but we enjoyed a delicious hot chocolate made with their hand made chocolate (no powder in sight!). Thank you, it was fantastic! 11/04/23

We had a great time. Visited with two kids for afternoon tea and the Easter Egg Hunt. Food was fantastic. The views from the cafe are stunning by and staff were fantastic with the kids. The children’s’ outside playground was good fun for the kids as well.
Currently very much enjoying the limited edition Le Mourier Sparkling wine

Excellent scone with cream and jam, all accompanied by a very good homemade cider. The place is magnificent, very relaxing and friendly.
You have to arrive before 4 p.m. to be served food, after that it's just drinks and the shop.
They offer afternoon tea but we didn't try it because it was too late.

We stopped off at La Mare which was half way on a coastal walking route which was just the ticket for a light lunch and to taste some wine and their apple brandy. Excellent facilities and spotlessly clean and the server was so helpful with it being the first day in reopening.

Our tour guide John was exceptionally charming and very knowledgeable. He made the visit special. The grounds are beautiful and the combination of vineyards and orchards added a special dimension. All products are very high quality. Definitely a visit work taking.Wait time

Had an amazing tour at La Mare by a fabulously knowledgeable chap called John. He was very funny and was happy to answer any questions I had. Brilliant tour and produce only slightly ruined by being told we could buy the wine in duty free. Unfortunately we weren’t told the La Mare shop at Jersey airport only opens 8-6, so were unable to take any wine home as flight was at 20:50. Let John know, the pilot said hi 👋

Thoroughly recommend the tour, especially with John - he was great and certainly knows his stuff… really interesting and decent value for money with the tastes you have along the way, including fudge and chocolate! Thank you.Visited on

Great food and grounds are lovely. I'd recommend building better customer service in the café. Tried to order brunch at 11.50 and told they stop serving at mid day and it's 'more or less' that time so order not taken and no apology offered.Visited on

Nice small scenic winery. Tour was good, and also quite boozy: shot of cider, 3 glasses of wine, shot of vodka/brandy/gin, all in quick succession.
Seemed like a nice place for lunch outside in the sun, next to the vines. Decent sized ploughman's, but they're missing a trick not including apple on the plate, given their plentiful supply!

We have been 3 times now and each time it gets better. Great talk about the wines, ciders, liquors etc loved the sample tasting a great variation of what they make there. We had a tasty lunch in the restaurant after, all in all a wonderful day thanks.
