The Best of Kensington and Chelsea is proud to support The Red Cross, the largest voluntary humanitarian organisation in the World. 

In addition, within the UK, the British Red Cross also helps vulnerable people to regain their independence following a personal crisis.  They offer a wide range of services enabling people to help themselves to get their lives back to normal as quickly and easily as possible.  The majority of their services are provided free of charge to users and they welcome donations to enable them to continue to deliver this invaluable support. 

 The services include: Medical Equipment Loan, Therapeutic Care, Skin Camouflage Service, Home from Hospital, First Aid Services, International Tracing and Message Service, Refugee Services.  The British Red Cross helps vulnerable people in crisis, whoever and wherever they are.

The Kensington and Chelsea Red Cross Charity Shop

The British Red Cross has 340 shops across the UK.  Supported by volunteers, staff and customers, all profits go toward the work of the Red Cross both in the UK and overseas.

The British Red Cross charity shop in Kensington and Chelsea is located on Old Church Street, SW3.  The store underwent a refurbishment in April 2007 and reopened double its former size.  The shop receives donations from top designers as well as wealthy Chelsea residents, making it a real treasure trove.  

Items sold are safe, clean and of good quality and range from mens, womens and childrens clothing to accessories, shoes, crockery, glassware, toys DCs, prints, frames and plenty more.

Would you like to meet people and raise money in a fun and friendly atmosphere?  Do you want to put your retail skills to use, or perhaps take on a new challenge?  Every Red Cross shop relies on the help and support of a team of volunteers to make it run successfully.  You will be working closely with the shop manager, helping with a whole range of activities in the shop.
