Good. Pleasant. Quite noisy and afternoon tea served in pottery, rather than china and paper napkins, but food was delicious and good attention to allergy details. Cake selection beautiful. Would have liked a cake fork as only provided with knife.

Not only does the Buttery offer great quality food, there is also a farm shop stocking high quality products from local producers. We especially like the artwork available, and will be back to buy even more pieces in the future. Easy access, ample parking, friendly staff. During picking season we have seen people getting their punnets filled. Easily reachable by foot from nearby villages also (access from Newton village via footpath to rear). Has made a nice stopping off point on many a walk.

Went here for lunch with the kids and really enjoyed, it makes a nice change from eating at a Pub. We sat in the Garden at the rear and it was very pleasant. Menu is good and everything homemade. We were slightly dull and went for Jacket potatoes but they were excellent.

Great for pick your own- although not very cost effective! Really good fun for the kids.

Lovely cafe with a limited menu but very tasty. There can be a very long wait for food.

Nice little shop with some homeware, food, gift bits.

Good amount of free parking.

Food was great, service great ,and although this may sound stupid , the balsamic salad dressing is to die for, I even bought a bottle cost almost four pounds but worth every penny, and this is from someone who shops at Aldi.

The food, setting and staff was excellent. Brixworth pate starter was the star of the dining experience for me. One let down was main meal was served on a slate which when you cut into things it would also cut into the slate leaving a dark grey powder from where it ground away the slate.......looks good but health wise probably not great!
