Simple tasty food in lovely surroundings. Gorgeous pick your own fruit, not particularly cheap but the strawberries are perfect and very tasty.

I have been visiting the Buttery for the last few years, and have always found the food and service to be of a very high standard. The venue is in a lovely location, with plenty of parking and the shop sells local farm produce. Worth a visit!

Lovely country setting surrounded by fields that are full of ' pick your own ' fruit in the summer. Large parking area, small play area for the kiddies.. Lovely food served by lovely friendly and not too over intensive staff.. Lovely garden area where you can eat or just have a cup of coffee with the biggest portion of cake on this planet! This is a very popular place so booking in advance is recommended

Visited yesterday for a girlie lunch ..friendly welcome on arrival and seated at our prebooked table straight away ..Although it was very very busy for which the waitress apologised we were soon served with our drinks and the meal order taken ..Not too long later our meal came and it was delicious the only tiny niggle was it could have been hotter ..but 2 of us like our food piping so decided that it wasnt worth saying anything as they were terribly busy ..so we will see what happens the next time .. When my friend cut into her 2nd delicious lamb chop she found it was really rare the lovely waitress came and apologised and suggested next time she asks for well done and when presenting us with the Bill told us that her main meal had not been charged for ..Well done Dovecote ..a very nice gesture ..Warm friendly attentive and good service .. We will definitely be back 😊

A lovely farm shop and restaurant. Really nice location and they do a nice range of really lovely food. The location is nice and they do fruit picking in the summer months as well.
As well as good they do cakes and coffee and there is a fizz bar to top it off.
