Visited The Blitz Tearooms yesterday 6th December 2024. Went with my Mum and Daughter for my Daughters 21st Birthday Afternoon Tea and we chose to have The Vera Lynn Afternoon Tea. It was absolutley wonderful the food was delicious and plentiful and all homemade Jasmine and Jarmin were so welcoming and friendly and made my Daughters Birthday really Special by adding a candle to one of the lovely little cakes and singing happy Birthday to her. Nothing was to much trouble for them and the atmosphere was so lovely. We will definatley go back there again can highley reccomend it. Keep doing what your doing Jasmine and Jarmin you bring so much joy to all your customers bless you both. Xx

no cheap but food is good service is quick and friendly. The whole place is an event not just a place to eat. The decor has been well done and gives you a lot to look at and experience. Excellent poached eggs on toast,loose leaf breakfast tea served in huge brown teapot and drunk out of lovely china teacups. Very efficient and friendly service. A great contrast to where we initially went, Hobson's Choice where we waited for 20 minutes to get in before giving up. Very glad we did leave as we could not fault our breakfast at The Blitz.
