An exquisite place full of character and charm right in the middle of Kettering Culture Quarter. From the bombed roof to the tins on the shelf and even the dress of the staff wear, attention to detail is impressive. Also the Spitfire Mk1 chasing the Junker 88 is a very good detail.

I am fascinated with the war era and being only 25 I have no memories of the times, going to this wonderful tea room where it is themed in war time and the staff are even dressed in period clothing it just almost feels like home. I feel so comfortable going here on my own and just drinking tea it's such a lovely place :) keep up the amazing work guys

The moment I walk into The Blitz Tea Room I feel like I have stepped back into my grandmother's much loved home. Cherished memories come to mind and I know she would have loved it there. The attention to detail in the ambiance and furnishings make it feel so homely. A warm welcome is always received followed by delicious food at reasonable prices. You can't beat a proper cup of tea in a bone china cup. This Tea Room is a hidden gem! It just needs to be bigger - maybe they could erect a Prefab outside!

I have been to the Blitz Tea Room and Jazz Lounge. I have experienced both, having a tea afternoon, and being there for a Jazz event. I enjoyed both days and the atmosphere was very relaxed, the food the service and the entertainment was great. Well done to Allan, Rhonda and the whole team of staff there. I will be coming again soon.

i love the friendly welcoming atmosphere, the quaintness of the 1940s decor, the delicious menu with the wartime sounding names and the background soundtrack of wartime tunes complete with Winston Churchill and air raid sirens!

Firstly I love the way that they have done a 40s theme in a very classic and stylish way, without an element of tackiness. The feel is completely genuine and authentic from the "ration book"menus to the period uniforms and furniture. I love how all of the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. They all, without fail give fantactic service in a timely manner. The menu is brilliant, plenty to choose from and always perfectly cooked / prepared. Quite honestly my favourite little place to visit.

Really authentic, warm and friendly atmosphere at The Blitz Tea Room. Staff are very friendly, and the Bacon & Maple Syrup breakfast I can particularly recommend! I will definitely be coming back here again. Easily one of the best cafes/tea rooms in Kettering.
