An ideal stopping off point from the trials and tribulations of the A14 (J2 is one mile away)) and a haven for weary travellers. Good ale selection for non drivers and good, reasonably priced food. Lots of offers at various times in the week and boasts a real coffee shop with a real coffee machine along with take out options.

Decent enough loo facilities and also a garden for when the Sun shines. Certainly beats motorway services or a dodgy roadside Costa.

The place is traditional and functional. The style is typical of a pub. The menu is rich and the dishes we chose were well cooked and elegantly presented. Only service could be improved with better organization.

Stopped off for some lunch on way home from Thetford. A lovely place, felt welcome as soon as we walked in. Staff were friendly and very polite.
Food was lovely, big portion of fish and chips that I tried my best to finish. If passing again would definitely eat there.

Stopped here on our way back from Wales for lunch. Conveniently close to the A14. Reasonably priced food of a good standard and 2 real ales on so we were happy. Will stop again on our travels I expect.

Lovely pub and garden, large food selection but no burgers, which apparently is a mistake for young people. Not for me though, loved the beer, food, service and atmosphere.
