Very friendly pub. Clean and comfy with good chairs. Four of us had an excellent steak supper, very good quality meat cooked to perfection, crispy chips, nice veg's. Accommodated our special requests. Would have given it 5 stars, except service was slow, and plates lukewarm. If you are not in a hurry, would definitely recommend. We will visit again.

Good food, friendly staff and a decent range of beers, wines and soft drinks.

Car park fills quickly, though on-street parking nearby is fairly easy.

Very dog friendly with time to talk to Gnotti - and biscuits.

Amazing very filling great taste and combination of flavours. I noticed through the door window leading into the kitchen a staff member drying a glass under the hot plate light to make sure it was clean. 10 out of 10 must return

Great choices of food and wonderfully cooked, with a selection of homemade pies on the menu. The triple fried chips are really good. Quiet on a winters Saturday lunchtime but gets busier in the evening.

Called up and spoke to Stuart who confirmed they are dog friendly and reserved us a table between the restaurant and bar. We struggled to find a place which allowed dogs and also had table for 4 adults and 2 children. Upon arriving, Stuart recognised our group from the conversation we had over the phone. He was very personable and friendly, as was our waitress. I had the turkey bacon stuffing pie and it was absolutely amazing. The menu had variety and food was reasonably priced. Also kids eat free in January. Everybody in our group agreed it was well worth the visit and that We're definately coming back!!!
