THE LAWN CLUB AT KETTERING PARK.
Featuring barn-style doors, cedar and living wall cladding, pergolas and floor lights, the new venue has been cleverly constructed to provide a unique setting for outdoor dining and drinks.
The bar will serve all things synonymous with summer, including Pimm’s, a selection of gins paired with Fever Tree tonic, draught beer and the award-winning Hambledon range of English sparkling wines.
A ‘Quintessentially British’ menu has been specially curated by the Executive Chef and includes artisan sandwiches made with Chapel & Swan smoked salmon, English lobster salad with samphire and sourdough, and juicy prime-cut burgers. Available from midday until 7:00pm, The Lawn Club’s menu also includes decadent desserts, such as classic Afternoon Tea and the timeless, Strawberries & Cream.
Andrew Hollett, General Manager at the 4-star Spa hotel, commented: “We’re hoping for a lovely summer this year, when people will get the chance to really appreciate spending time with friends and family in beautiful surroundings.
The Lawn Club enhances our offering as a hotel that has everything under one roof, an award-winning Spa, an AA Rosette awarded restaurant and now a stunning outdoor dining concept.”
Guests to The Lawn Club may simply turn up and find a sunny spot in the hotel’s manicured gardens, though Afternoon Tea should be booked in advance.
Ideally located just 55-minutes away from London by train, Kettering Park Hotel and Spa is well set up for families and couples alike, and is the ideal location for exploring the East Midlands and Southern England. Visit Rutland Water, take to the rollercoasters at Wicksteed Park or stroll around Rushden Lakes, Northamptonshire's premier shopping and leisure destination.
