The Woolpack Inn has been beautifully restored and located a couple of minutes from J12 on the A14. The Woolpack offers a large range of facilities from great dining and excellent bar meals outdoor areas and accommodation.
I didn't stay at the hotel, just went for dinner.
I had a couple of excellent pints of Abbott Ale, perfectly kept and served at the correct temperature.
I ordered bangers and mash. The mashed potatoes and carrots were great but the sausages tasted like they had been cooked in the microwave.
