I went for Sunday lunch ,my meal was nice but our main courses all came out at different times and there was a delay in bringing our vegetables. My friends Yorkshire pudding was frozen in the middle and had to be returned . My friend has allergies and choice was limited on the Sunday lunch menu, for pudding she ordered dairy free brownie with vanilla ice cream and was brought the brownie with chocolate ice cream. We asked for more veg but by the time they came we had finished our meal.We had to go and ask for sauces to accompany our roast . When they took my friends plate due to frozen yorkie,they took her cutlery and we had to go and find a waitress to get her cutlery. The waitress was pleasant and polite and the other meals were nice.

This resort is gorgeous and the staff completely embody the ethos. Nothing was too much trouble and we were really well taken care of. It had such a family feel that it was like coming home. Rooms are hidden away with the layout of the hotel having all amenities together. Great ideas for reducing the carbon footprint with carafes and stations to fill up on fresh filtered water and fresh milk.
