Stopped here on a bike ride along the Brampton Valley Way. Delicious beer and lovely food. It was all helped by being a nice sunny afternoon and we sat in the garden. Plenty of folks inside having sunday dinner which is always a good sign. Definately worth a visit.

Stopped for dinner on a Sunday, unusually for pubs had Sunday dinner and a regular menu. Meals were very nice and service very good, would recommend as a place to go.

Good food, friendly enough staff. Only real gripe I had, was we received a dirty pint glass, took it straight back and they poured it into another dirty glass, complete with said dirt. They did however pour a fresh one for us, which was also dirty. Mentioned it on our way out and the barman tried to pass it off as water marks.. was definitely baked on dish washer dirt on the inside of the glass. Extremely trivial, but felt it could've been dealt with a bit better :-)

Visited here with 6 friends after walking some of the Brampton valley way . We all had dogs luckily the weather was nice so we sat in the garden . None of the tables where set out they had been been stacked onto the patio area . WINTER is not here yet !! Lol . We made our own table
. Food and drink where nice I had the Gammon . One of my friends had a dirty glass and drink but soon sorted . All round service good and staff friendly . Toilets could do with updating and the outside a bit of a tidy up round the back . Will visit again if in the area .Loved the cider on tap (bad apple )
