People are being invited to start 2012 on a high as new weekly climbing clubs begin on Wednesday 11 January at Lynnsport’s The Hangar, climbing centre.
Juniors (8-15 year olds) will take to the wall from 4-7 pm. The session begins with an hour of coaching and then participants can practise the techniques, supervised by instructors, from 5-7 pm. Instructors will teach basic techniques and safe use of equipment. The club is suitable for both beginners and more experienced climbers.
Parental consent will be required prior to taking part.
The adult climbing club will take place from 7-10 pm every Wednesday (beginning 11 Jan). Anyone, aged 16 and over, who is registered with The Hangar can join the club. Those interested in registering can contact Lynnsport (01553 818001) for more information. An instructor will be available throughout the session.
Equipment is available for hire. Climbers can drop into the club sessions at any time, although they must have started climbing at least one hour before the session is due to close. Junior beginners are advised to attend the coaching session between 4-5 pm.

With Leisure Card: £5.50, with Concession Leisure Card: £3.00 or £5.90 without a Leisure Card.
Adults:
With Leisure Card: £4.25, with Concession Leisure Card: £3.10 or £4.85 without a Leisure Card.
