During his lifetime and since his death, Stanford's choral music has been much-loved, and this concert celebrates not only Stanford's music, but also some of the music which influenced what he composed. The concert is a celebration of the English choral music tradition and features works by Tallis, Stanford, Parry, Elgar, and others.
