UK cinema goers are in for a real treat this year as The Muppets burst back onto the big screen with the release of their movie on Friday, 10th February. Disney Stores across the UK are celebrating this exciting release and inviting Guests to join in the festivities.
Having all gone their separate ways, Kermit, with the help of some new friends, reunites all of the Muppets in an effort to save the Muppet Theatre from the wicked plans of a local business man. With celebrity cameos including Jason Segal and Amy Adams as well as appearances by the well-loved Muppets characters, this movie is set to be a big hit for 2012.
To celebrate the release of The Muppets, Disney Stores across the UK are inviting you to join in the mayhem and fun by participating in their free in-store activities from the 5th February for three weeks.
‘Muppets Mayhem’ is the theme so expect things to be just a little bit silly and full of fun! Guests are invited to participate in a range of great activities including: ‘Muppetise’ your own character with some whacky accessories. Once you’ve created your Muppetised character in store, you could be in with a chance of winning a selection of Muppet goodies by giving your character a name and uploading an image to www.disney.co.uk/muppets from 4th February until 25th February.
It will then be up to the public to choose their favourite character, so be as whacky and creative as you want!
Voting commences on 26th February until 5th March.
