Two of London's most popular bonfires and fireworks displays on Bonfire Night 2012 will take place in Wimbledon Park and Morden Park on 3rd and 4th November. Organised by Merton Council, both events will each have two displays on the night.

The first bonfire and fireworks display – starting at about 6.30pm – is most suitable for a younger audience. The second bonfire and fireworks display starts at about 8.15pm. There will be refreshments, stalls and a fairground open throughout the evening until 10.00pm

Both displays will go ahead whatever the weather!

Saturday 3 November in Morden Park

Monday 5 November in Wimbledon Park

Please note: The public are not permitted to bring any fireworks, alcohol or dogs into the parks.

Times

5.15pm - Gates open.
6.30pm - First bonfire lit.
6.45pm - First fireworks display. This display is more suitable for young children.
8.15pm - Second bonfire lit.
8.30pm Second fireworks display.
Fairground, stalls and refreshments open until 10.00pm

Prices

Tickets are only available on the gates on the night.

Disabled parking and access

Morden Park

Limited disabled parking via entrance drive (to the side of Merton College) off of London Road for Blue Badge Holders only. There will be a disabled toilet on site. Please be aware that pedestrian access from the gate at Lower Morden Lane to the display site is via a grassed field.

Wimbledon Park

Limited disabled parking via Revelstoke Road entrance for Blue Badge holders only. There will be a disabled toilet on site.
