The work of STEM4
STEM4 supports the mental health of young people in an ever more challenging world by targeting the early identification of commonly occurring mental illnesses.
STEM4 educates teenagers, their friends, families or carers and their schools to recognise early signs of Eating Disorders, Depression, Self Harm and Addiction and, as a consequence, to know what appropriate action to take.
STEM4 works directly with schools and through its comprehensive website.
STEM4 provides
STEM4’s comprehensive website for young people, their friends and families offers information on signs and symptoms to look out for, practical advice on steps to take and where to go for help.
STEM4’s Eating Disorder website, with details about their training service, can be found at www.stem4-ed.org.uk
STEM4’s services for the early identification and management of Depression, Self Harm and Addiction will follow shortly.
