What a great time we all had this morning whilst both waiting and watching the Olympic torch pass through our great town. Once again, despite the rain, hundreds or people turned out to celebrate the torch . We listened to two brilliant choirs that sounded great and kept the spirits up as we waited for the torch. My daughter was extremely lucky as she got picked to be on the podium with the Major and the May Queen along with other children – one from each of the Knutsford schools. It exonerates all that is fantastic about our town – any excuse to celebrate and party we will !!!
