Emma Murray-Gyte joins the senior management team as Head of Sales at The Mere owned by Ejarat Holdings, and reports directly to General Manager, Gary Johnson. Her appointment marks a significant step for the business to build on its enviable reputation and to further establish itself as the North West's premier luxury resort.
Murray-Gyte brings over 25 years of experience in luxury hospitality and will be responsible for leading the sales and commercial team and in driving strategic sales promoting the resorts full offering including the expansive event space that The Mere is renowned for across all national market sectors.
Emma joins from her former position as Director of Sales at Mottram Hall, Cheshire. Prior to this, Emma has enjoyed extensive Sales Management experience of leading hotels and venues, in the UK as well as overseas, including Radisson SAS Manchester Airport & Ireland, Crewe Hall Hotel, Manchester United FC and Jumeirah Beach Hotel & Resort, Dubai.
Residing in Derbyshire, Emma enjoys keeping fit through yoga and running, and keeping up with food and drink trends with wine and gin tastings, and in her spare time relaxes with gardening and holidaying in exotic locations around the world.
