In honour of this special day and International Nurses Day, our museum will be open all day Monday 12th May – with extended evening hours!
Florence Nightingale was a groundbreaking pioneer in the field of evidence based healthcare, and completely revolutionised nursing as a respectable profession – and when you visit the museum you will learn all about her life and lasting legacy. You will also gain insights into her work within the field of statistics and get a chance to meet some of her unique pets. With two temporary exhibitions up as well, this is the best time to visit the museum!
Two types of trails will be available for families and children exploring the museum.
If you are looking for a truly unique experience, make sure you stop by the museum after work! Florence Nightingale herself, will be making a special appearance at 7:00pm. A cash and card bar serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available from 5:00pm so you can raise a toast.
Admission on this day will be only £5! Tickets are available online through the link below or at the door.
The museum will be open from 10:00am – 8:00pm
