Warwickshire company EOS Energy have continued their sustainability drive by installing solar panels at their headquarters in Southam to provide 50% of the power for all of their operations. The 100kW array consists of 500 photovoltaic (PV) panels and produces approximately 80,000kWh of electricity per year.
EOS Energy’s Sustainability Office Eleanor Stewart commented “We aim to lead by example and are proud to be championing renewable technologies. The array will not only save us money by reducing our demand for national grid power, but we will also reduce our carbon footprint and receive payments from the Government via the Feed in Tariff.”
The award winning company is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, cumulating in a grand open day on 6th July.
