MUSICIANS, charities and other organisations from around south Warwickshire have been getting so excited about this year’s Leamington Peace Festival that organisers will need more volunteers to help run the event.
Applications for bands to play at the town’s 34th peace festival, which takes place on Saturday June 16 and Sunday June 17 at the Pump Room Gardens, are already oversubscribed, while the number of people applying for a stall at the event is much higher than for last year’s event.
Dave Steele, one of the organisers, said: “We think the huge success of recent peace festivals has made ours the festival for bands to showcase their talents and stalls to sell their wares.”
