Leamington Football Club have enjoyed some exciting times over the last 10 years as they have climbed up from the Second Division of the Midland Combination, where they were placed when they began playing again in 2000 after a 12 year hiatus, back to the Southern League Premier Division. Brakes fans have enjoyed top six finishes, championship and cup wins as their team has climbed the Pyramid to bring a good standard of Non League Football back to the town again. The club has a healthy following but new supporters are always welcomed, and will find a friendly atmosphere at the New Windmill Ground.

I am amazed that there are so few comments and mentions of support for this organisation, as they provide an invaluable service to the community and deserve lots of support and praise for all the good they do in supporting people in times of need.

Leamington Football Club is a fantastic success story both on and off the field of play. Five promotions in 10 years and crowds averaging 600.

The formation of 28 boys, girls and ladies teams in the past five years sees over 400 children and adults playing and being coached each week. In that period the club has attained FA Community Club Charter Standard status, the highest standard for footballing activity monitored by the FA.

The club launched a Community Scheme in January 2011 participating in and driving forward on health, education and well being initiatives that not only benefit players and supporters but also the wider community.

Watch the Brakes and be part of a family orientated club that provides free admission for Children Under 12. It's a decision that will bring you much pleasure.

Excellent quality, friendly service, local produce in a stunningly beautiful setting. It’s a real treat to come here and there is plenty for all the family whether it’s an afternoon tea, farmhouse breakfast or sitting outside in the sun while children play on the swings and slides.

Had lunch here last week. Telephoned previously to find out details of menu. Was told they could not say what lunch menu would be. Pressed for details and was told it changed daily. Asked if soups/paninis/sandwiches etc would be available. It was really difficult to draw any information out of the uninterested person on the telephone. Also one of our party had a gluten free allergy and was told that the chef could cook something specially. We booked because one of our party had particularly requested it. When a plain omelette was requested for our gluten free friend we were told that this was not possible. Embarrassing! Arrived at 1245 and were served hot lunches at 1400. No apologies, no eye contact, no smiles. Food was fine. But would we go again? Not until they sorted the customer service out!
