This Hindu temple was the first to be built in Leeds. It functions as a centre to meet the spiritual, cultural and social needs of the community. It is also the site of the Sri Murugan Temple in Leeds, an opportunity to bring together the communities of South India.

This temple is Leeds's oldest Hindu Temple built in 1968. There are many beautiful carvings, painting and statues to be found there.

It is a centre to fulfil the spiritual, cultural and social needs of the local community. Everyone is welcome there and it is definitely worth a visit to learn more about Hinduism.

The Sri Murugan part of the temple is also the site of several celebrations of Durga Puja. Check the website for the schedule of what's on.
